What it costs you
Nothing, and there’s no markup.
The producer pays a subscription to sell on Foodstack. That’s the whole business model — we don’t take a cut of your order and we don’t add anything to their prices.

You keep paying them however you do now. Foodstack doesn’t sit between you and your supplier.
Getting started
Two ways in.
Use the link they sent you
It connects you to that producer straight away, with the pricing and minimums they’ve set for your account already in place. Don’t create a fresh account instead — it starts empty and isn’t linked to them.
Ask us who’s near you
The public directory isn’t open yet. In the meantime a person will do it by hand — tell us what you need and roughly where you are, and we’ll point you at producers who sell it and are taking new accounts.
The third way
Your best supplier isn’t on Foodstack yet.
This is the one we’d most like to hear about. Tell us who you buy from and we’ll reach out to them — producers listen to their own customers far more than they listen to us, so it helps if we can say you asked.
Goes to buyers@foodstack.com, with the questions already in the message. We’ll mention that one of their customers suggested them — and we won’t say which one unless you tell us we can.
Where we sit
We’re not in the middle of it.
You buy from them, not us
The order, the invoice and the relationship are between you and the producer. We don’t hold stock, don’t set prices and don’t broker anything.
Your history is yours
What you order is visible to you and to that producer. No other producer on the platform can see it, and you can export the lot whenever you like.
We don’t market to you
You’ll get order confirmations and delivery notices, and nothing else. We don’t sell your details and we don’t advertise producers into your inbox.

Is it really free, or is there a catch later?
Really free. Producers pay a monthly subscription to sell on Foodstack, and that’s the whole revenue model — there’s no per-order fee to you and nothing is added to the prices your supplier sets.
Do I need a separate account for each supplier?
No. One login covers every producer you’re connected to, each with their own products, your pricing and their own cut-off times.
Can I still just call them?
Of course, and you should when it matters. A producer can enter a phoned order in seconds and it appears in your history like any other, so nothing gets lost by doing it the old way occasionally.
How do I pay?
However you pay that supplier today. The invoice comes from them on their own terms — Foodstack doesn’t sit between you and the payment.
Who can see what I order?
You and the producer you ordered from. No other producer sees your orders, your volumes or who else you buy from.
What if a producer changes their prices?
You’ll see the new price on their list before you order, and price changes don’t apply to an order you’ve already placed. Notice periods are between you and them — we don’t set those.
Can I get my order history out?
Yes, as CSV, any time, including after you stop using it. Useful for food-cost tracking, and it’s yours either way.
